Redesc, new BR mode is free to play & is live right now
EA and DICE really went all in for Battlefield 6 and the reported sales show that their efforts were all worth it. Considered to be one of the Battlefield games in recent years, it appears that it has already sold 10 million units in its first month.
This was reported by Alinea Analytics’ Rhys Elliot to GameIndustry. DICE’s “biggest Battlefield ever” is truly living up to the hype, especially when it comes to PC. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Battlefield 6’s breakout month
On October 16, 2025, it was reported that the game had sold 7 million units in the first three days. Now, the new reports from Alinea Analytics tell that the game has already sold 10 million units in its first month.
PC played a huge role in this and the game also topped Steam’s weekly active users in the US and Canada last week.
Sure, player perceptions shifted slightly after Season 1 and the integration of Battle Pass with RedSec BR mode, but engagement? Off the charts – people are putting in considerable time with the updated maps, gadget-fueled firefights, and class combos that make every push a spectacle.
But for the console side, Call of Duty still reigns supreme. However, you also have to count that COD also releases on the previous platforms, plus with free Warzone battle royale content.
For now, the fans are enjoying REDSEC, the new free-to-play battle royale mode.

Final Thoughts
It’s safe to say that EA and DICE really deliver what they promised all the fans for Battlefield 6. There are a few little issues in the game, but all can be fixed slowly with the patch updates.
10 million units in it’s first month is already a huge success and I am pretty sure it is only going to go upward.
