Complete Settings Guide in EA FC 25

Preset

First, head towards Settings>Game Settings and turn the preset from custom to competitive. This will help you in the online competitive matches.

• Assisted Headers
• Auto-Flair Pass
• Through-Pass Assistance
• Lobbed Through-Pass Assistance
• Auto Clearances
• Jockey
• Defending
• Contextual Agile Dribbling

Shot Assitance

You can find this setting in the gameplay setting as well. Turn this from precision to assistance. It won’t be powerful but it will make your shots more accurate.

Timed Finishing

You will find this setting in the gameplay setting as well in EA FC 25. Make sure to turn this on as this will make sure your shots even better.

Defending

For me, this is the most important setting in the game. Scroll all the way down in the gameplay setting where you will find the defending option. Switch from tactical defending to advanced defending. This will allow you to manually choose between a standing tackle and absolutely bodying your opponent aside.

Reaction Time Modifier

Make sure to turn off the Reaction Time Modifier which will help you reduce the lag in the menu.

Graphics

Now head towards the Graphics mode and switch the option from enhanced visuals to the favour resolutions. This will help you a little if your in-game lags.

Speed

Sometimes you might have noticed that even your high-paced players feel like Harry Maguire on the field when it comes to running. This can be easily fixed by going into the controller preferences (under the gameplay setting) and turning off the analog sprint and trigger effect.

Visual

This setting will mostly depend on you. Go into the visual settings and turn HUD into the indicator. Then turn player indicator into the player name. This will help you to see your player names right above them in-game.

Matchmaking

This setting is also optional in EA FC 25. You can find this under the matchmaking setting and make sure to turn the cross-play platforms from ‘Yes’ to ‘No.’
