According to a report from MP1st, this project was greenlit in 2025 by CD Projekt RED and the development is handled by WayForward. This studio is known for titles like River City Girls, Shantae, and Contra 4.
According to the information, it’s from a developer’s resume that mentioned a project called Project Gemini, which is Cyberpunk and is yet to be announced.
The game is reportedly in the prototype stage from 2025 to 2026, and the developers are testing gameplay systems, gameplay mechanics, and technical frameworks.
For now, the report does not mention whether the project is still active or not, but it surely indicates that the project might be in early development.
