Possible announcement at Game Awards 2025
Kojima Productions’ sequel to Death Stranding, Death Stranding 2 PC port, might be arriving sooner than we expected. This game was released on June 26, 2025 and has already been nominated for Game of the Year.
Now, new details about the PC port have been leaked via the ESRB rating. The Entertainment Software Rating Board website briefly mentioned the M-rated title on PC. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Death Stranding 2 PC leak: ESRB breakdown
The game has been rated on ESRB website and has received an M-rated rating for PC. It is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Blood/gore, intense violence and strong language all match with Kojima’s post-apoc trek. The original Death Stranding will be available on PC in July 2020 (8 months after the PS4), with the Director’s Cut coming in 2021.
It appears that the sequel might arrive on PC way earlier for the fans and gamers. Looking ahead, we have the Game Awards 2025 on December 11, 2025.
Hideo Kojima is always present and is a very good friend of Geoff Keighley. Death Stranding 2 is also nominated for Game of the Year and for other categories.
There is a pretty good chance that the Death Stranding 2 PC port might be announced during the show.
