Death Stranding 2 preview arrives on May 8

The gaming world received exciting news when sites such as Video Games Chronicle (VGC) and Game Informer reported they have been testing Death Stranding 2.

VGC stated, “We are playing Death Stranding 2 at Kojima Productions. Look for our preview coverage on May 8.”

Similarly, Game Informer’s Marcus Stewart said on X, “I’m in Tokyo this week playing Death Stranding 2 at Kojima Productions!” I’m checking out A LOT of the game, and you can read my impressions on May 8th.”

Even the official page of Kojima Productions on X posted the picture with the journalist about the ongoing preview event.

This Death Stranding 2 preview will drop on May 8, 2025 and we will get the first review and impression of the game.

Typically, reviews and previews drop a day before the game release, however, it seems Kojima is very confident with his masterpiece.

This sequel is ready to introduce new characters like Dollman (voiced by Elle Fanning) and a returning Higgs (Troy Baker), with Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus) navigating a surreal world.

We have a new enhanced mode, new delivery mechanics and a mysterious beach setting. With a $70 price tag and a Digital Deluxe Edition at $80, pre-orders are already live.
