EA FC 26 major fixes & upgrades based on closed beta

EA Sports is fixing many things before the full launch of the game!

EA Sports’ next FIFA title, EA FC 26, is scheduled to release on September 26, 2025. Recently, based on players’ feedback from the closed beta, EA is fixing many things in the game.

These changes were made after the testing modes like Football Ultimate Team, Kick Off, Clubs, and Career via Player feedback portals and Beta forums. Let’s check out more details in this article.

List of major fixes & upgrades in EA FC 26

EA Sports has thanked the players and community for all the support and feedback after they revealed the game and Closed Beta servers. Here’s everything that has been addressed right now:

• Low-Driven Shots: Players reported slow goalkeeper reactions and overpowering shots. EA plans to improve goalie responsiveness and balance this move in an update before Early Access.
• AI Defender Speed: Feedback identified extremely fast defenders as a result of animations slowing attackers during ball traps. This will be changed for more balanced gameplay, allowing attackers to shine.
• AI Positioning Attack: Offside concerns and poor run timing are being addressed, with AI becoming more adept at finding space and timing sprints.
• Club Archetypes: Popular among many, yet advancement felt stale. EA is increasing the number of attribute points at level one and per level to allow for greater personalization.
• Manager Career Contracts: Career Mode’s confusing contract renewal wording is getting a revamp, including better messaging and weekly updates.
• Heavy Dribble Touches: Balls that travel too far, particularly in rain, will be tweaked live closer to launch.
• AI Call for Pass Delay: Pre-Early Access adjustments will help hesitant AI teammates in Clubs pass more quickly.
• Become a goalkeeper. Responsiveness: Better animations and cross-claiming improve inconsistent saves and dives.
• FUT Tournament Time Limits: Match-to-match timers irritated participants, therefore EA removed them at launch and will examine events on an individual basis.
• AI Shot Selection: Offline AI’s reluctance to shoot will be addressed before Early Access, making attacks more daring.
