How does this build perform?
One of the richest men in the world is also a geek and a gamer. Elon Musk Elden Ring build is widely popular and known among the Elden Ring fans. A few months ago, a gamer even tested his build in the new Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
This build, which he described as a “power mage with decent sword/katana skills,” sparked both intrigue and criticism. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Elon Musk Elden Ring build breakdown
Musk’s character build at Level 111 featured:
- Vigor: Only 31 points, which is critically low for late-game tasks, especially since the Twinsage Glintstone Crown reduces HP and stamina.
- Intelligence: A staggering 68, showing a strong emphasis on magic, possibly at the sacrifice of balance.

His Gear included:
- Weapons: Moonveil katana and Rogier’s Rapier with Magic infusion.
- Staff: Lusat’s Glintstone Staff, which boosts sorcery power while dramatically increasing FP costs.
- Talismans: A combination of the Graven-School Talisman for sorcery benefits, the Green Turtle for stamina regeneration, Radagon’s Soreseal for increased damage taken, and the Crimson Amber Medallion +1 for a health boost, which critics say was a poor attempt to compensate for his low Vigor.
How well does Elon Musk Elden Ring build perform?
Brendon Lowry played with Elon Musk Elden Ring build on the new Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. According to him in a blog post, this is how this build worked in the game:
- Combat Strategy: The high Intelligence enabled deadly spells, especially when combined with the improved potency of Lusat’s Staff. The build’s fatal fault was its survivability. With the Twinsage Crown’s low Vigor and HP penalty, any error could be catastrophic.
Pros of Elon Musk Elden Ring build
- Magic Power: Due to the high intelligence, spells hit like meteors.
- Weaponry: Moonveil’s Transient Moonlight talent was a lifeline, dealing massive damage and staggering potential.
Cons of Elon Musk Elden Ring build
- Survivability: The combination of low Vigor, HP decrease, and enhanced damage from Radagon’s Soreseal made each battle a delicate balance.
- Mobility: The “fat roll” from the large load was a continual barrier, making evasion against speedy foes or bosses especially difficult.
- Against Regular Enemies: If used correctly, Musk’s build can tackle common enemies with its formidable spells and swordplay. The tremendous damage output provided a significant edge here.
- Boss Fights: This is when the build’s flaws were most obvious. The bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree are merciless and ruthless. Our Musk-inspired character struggled since he couldn’t tank or evade adequately. The build’s success was primarily reliant on precise spell execution and excellent timing using Moonveil’s talent.
- Spirit Ashes: The deployment of Banished Knight Engvall was a wise decision, providing much-needed distraction, but it was insufficient to mitigate the build’s inherent weaknesses.
