Epic Games has officially confirmed that Chapter 7 Season 4: Override will start on August 20, 2026.
Although the exact timings are not revealed yet, based on the previous season downtime and updates, here are the timings for the expected downtime in different regions:
- Pacific Time (PT): 1:00 AM – Aug. 20
- Central Time (CT): 3:00 AM – Aug. 20
- Eastern Time (ET): 4:00 AM – Aug. 20
- Brasilia Time (BRT): 5:00 AM – Aug. 20
- British Summer Time (BST): 9:00 AM – Aug. 20
- Central European Summer Time (CEST): 10:00 AM – Aug. 20
- China Standard Time (CST): 4:00 PM – Aug. 20
- Korean Standard Time (KST): 5:00 PM – Aug. 20
- Japan Standard Time (JST): 5:00 PM – Aug. 20
- Australian Eastern Time (AET): 6:00 PM – Aug. 20

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override brings massive crossovers
The biggest highlight of the new season trailer was the impressive lineup of collaborations. Here are some of the confirmed collaborations shown in the trailer:
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Shadow
- Dr. Eggman
- Mega Man
- Crash Bandicoot
- Spyro (Sidekick)
- Joker from Persona 5
- Tails (Sidekick)
In the trailer, we also saw a brief look at the Mortal Kombat characters. Male V from Cyberpunk 2077 was also spotted on the billboard.
New Map changes & POIs in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4
YES! The new season will bring some noticeable changes to the map. At the centre, there is a massive futuristic spire that appears to have replaced the Zero Point.
From the structure, large cables are spreading towards the mysterious eye high above the island. Several new POIs were also spotted but Epic Games has not revealed the official details yet.
New gameplay features & weapons
A new Match Hack system has been added. During every match, you will find a cartridge that will activate unique lobby-wide modifiers once inserted.

- Bush Ranger
- Killswitch
- Jazz Jackrabbit
Here are some of the new weapons that are added:
- 8-Bit Shotgun
- Arasaka HJSH-18 Masamune SMG
