GTA 6 may launch with 30 FPS mode
Brazilian YouTuber Davy Jones, was one of the creators who were invited to Rockstar North ahead of the Extended Look premiere. Apparently, the preview was running at 4K 30 FPS on a base PS5.
According to Jones, Rob Nelson, Co-Studio Head at Rockstar North, has told the attendees that the game is currently running at 30 FPS on consoles during development.
The development is still ongoing and Rockstar is prioritizing visual fidelity and the massive open world over the frame rates at launch.
Davy Jones has also claimed that the game will not feature first-person mode at release.

Maybe in future updates, we might get a performance mode with 60 FPS.
The PS5 Pro is also still a big unknown. While the PS5’s upgraded console will pack in much more graphical power than the standard console, there’s no word yet on whether the console will run GTA 6 in 60 FPS mode on launch day.
