Unveiled at Summer Game Fest, this debut release claims to push the genre’s boundaries, created by horror professionals who collaborated with seasoned directors to offer a game that “burrows into your mind and uncovers your deepest fears, layer by layer.”

ILL, set in a huge research fort seized by a mysterious creature, will challenge even the most ardent horror aficionados.

Players must navigate this spooky fortress while combating horrific Aberrations using a brutal dismemberment system that allows them to tear beasts apart, leaving trails of shredded skin, exposed bones, and eviscerated remnants.

The game’s brutal realism is a remarkable feature, transporting you to a world where every interaction feels raw and intense.

To heighten the dread, ILL has a binaural audio system that amplifies every creak and scream, dragging you deeper into the nightmare.

The realistic physics engine transforms the environment into an active player; objects can be used to solve puzzles or activated by your actions, while monsters retaliate by tossing debris your way.

This dynamic interaction will have you on edge throughout. Survival depends on weapon and resource management.
