IO Interactive has finally revealed the new trailer for their upcoming big title, James Bond 007 First Light, at Sony PlayStation’s State of Play.

007 First Light is releasing in 2026
The game market frequently sees titles mentioned years before any actual video is released, such as The Elder Scrolls 6.
But IO Interactive has broken the silence with 007 First Light, releasing a teaser filled with Bond action, famous gadgets, and a glance at the characters we’ll meet.
The game, due out in 2026, claims to bring the ultimate spycraft fantasy to life by leveraging IO’s stealth skills.
The gameplay looks pretty similar to the Hitman series and the car scene in the trailer was the best part for me. This is pretty much going to be a full stealth action-type game.
They still haven’t shown too much of the gameplay and we are getting a young James Bond. The graphics and art style also look somewhat unique and refreshing.

This is what the official 007 First Light social media handle on X has to say about the game:
In 007 First Light, play as James Bond, a young, resourceful, and sometimes reckless new recruit, and discover an origin story for the first time. An all-new game experience from @iointeractive, coming in 2026.
They are also offering free items for signing up for the official website. You can get On Duty” outfit skin and the “Gilded Wraith” weapon skin.
This game is scheduled for 2026 and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, Epic Store and Nintendo Switch 2.
