There have been many backlashes and controversies for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 & Assassin’s Creed Shadows recently. Despite that, both games are currently topping the pre-orders charts on PS5.

Top Pre-Order performers

Both games have achieved the highest rankings on the PS Store for both their normal editions and their more expensive Gold and Deluxe versions. The inclusion of Doom: The Dark Ages Premium Edition on the list demonstrates the high level of customer interest in well-known games.

This might be great news for Ubisoft, as the new Assassin’s Creed game can be considered their lifeline right now. There were already many backlashes from fans when the game was delayed two times. Some even consider that Ubisoft can’t deliver a game without any bugs.

There has also been much controversy involving the Japanese culture and making a game that almost looks and feels like Ghost of Tsushima. However, their recent improvement in gameplay mechanics, combat, graphics, and the new story mode trailer has somewhat earned some good points among the fans.

Also, you can definitely see by the pre-orders list that there are many die-hard Assassin’s Creed fans who want to play and experience the new Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

The same can be said towards Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 as well. Most of the controversy and backlash is because of banning this game in Saudi Arabia for content deemed immoral. Despite that, it has positive reviews and expectations among the fans.
