We are just one day away from the start of the 2nd half of the Marvel Rivals season 1. This means that Human Torch and The Thing will be joining the lineup to make the game even more fun to play.

Server downtime and start timings for Marvel Rivals season 1 part 2

According to NetEase, the maintenance and server downtime will start on February 21, 2025, at 1 AM PST. It is expected that the server will be down for 3 hours. During this time, the players won’t be able to play the game. Server return times may vary based on progress.

What to expect?

• New Heroes: The Fantastic Four will finally be complete with the addition of The Thing (a Vanguard) and Human Torch (a Duelist), joining Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman. With their distinct powers, these heroes are sure to upend the meta.
• Central Park Map: A new battlefield awaits players, where they will rescue Ratatoskr—not the God of War version, but an homage to Marvel’s mythology.
• Gameplay Changes: Lead Combat Designer Zhiyong revealed balancing modifications, which included:
• Strategists’ ultimates now cost more energy, with nerfs targeting Cloak and Dagger.
• Increases Venom and Magik’s ultimate charge rates.
• Changes to Doctor Strange and Magneto’s survivability after shield damage.
• Movement boosts for Vanguards such as The Thing.
• Invitational events will provide opportunities for hardcore players to shine, as well as the ability to convert unused Chrono Tokens into units after completing the Battle Pass.
• New Costumes: The Thing – Trench Coat and First Family, along with Human Torch – Negative Zone Gladiator and First Family!
