Easy tips and guide to master your combat

Dragon Age: The Veilguard has hit the shelves, and while the story is compelling, the fighting system is where the game truly excels.

Although the game is not the best or sometimes the combat can even become quite boring, here in this article, we will talk about some of the easy steps that you can master in the game.

5. Detonations and AOE

Dealing AOE damage and detonations is the major part of the combat that you should implement in the game. First, apply the primer skill and various statuses and then use the detonator skill to create more impact on the enemy. Every class will have different effects of the detonations, so make sure to study them properly first.

4. Master the Parry

Parrying is not just for the Souls game, it is a very important skill in the Dragon Age The Veilguard and you must master the art of Parry in this game as well. The attacks which are marked by yellow can only get parried. You might struggle at first, but the more you parry, the more you will get better. You can also tweak some parry settings as per your comfort.

3. Radial Menu

The Radial Menu is your tactical hum during combat in Dragon Age The Veilguard. You can use it to scout your enemies’ weaknesses, resistances, prioritize threats, and command your companions effectively. This tool enables you to strategize on the fly and lead your team like a true battlefield commander.

2. Strategic Primers

Players must understand and use the Primers effectively to control the battlefield. Weakened adversaries inflict less damage, while shattered enemies take more, and overwhelmed enemies stumble faster. Keep an eye on the Primer’s duration, which appears as a bubble next to the enemy’s health.

1. Experiment with Skill Resets

The last Dragon Age The Veilguard tip for the combat is to not get afraid of mixing your skills. As you progress, especially at level 20 when you can specialize your class, reset your skills to match your battle style to the enemy’s vulnerabilities.
