Ciri looks gorgeous!

CD Project Red has finally revealed the first Witcher 4 gameplay and more information about the game recently at Unreal Fest, which is going live right now.

The most amazing part was that this game was running on a standard PS5 at 60 frames-per-second (fps) with ray tracing enabled. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Witcher 4 will be a more immersive open-world RPG!

The demo and gameplay give a sneak peek of the Witcher 4 open world, featuring bustling towns, engaging dialogues and immersive NPCs.

The best part was how beautiful this game looks, along with Ciri. On top of that, they revealed that this game was running on a standard PS5 at 60 frames-per-second (fps) with ray tracing enabled.

While it’s intended to highlight Unreal Engine’s potential, the visual quality is nothing short of amazing.

CD Projekt Red underlines that this build is part of their ambition to create the most immersive open-world RPG yet, and early results indicate that they are on track.

However, it’s important to note that this sample is not the final product. The company warns that the 60fps with ray tracing may not be guaranteed in the final game, but if it is, we’re in for a treat.

I was a little disappointed that they didn’t reveal any combat during the gameplay. Most were cutscenes and the bustling town filled with NPCs.

The world and NPCs were fully responsive and CD Project Red also revealed that this time, Witcher 4 will be the most immersive and ambitious open world RPG Witcher game ever.

It is built with Nanite Foliage on Unreal Engine, with a fully Responsive World and a new animation framework.

Also, don’t forget, Ciri’s new horse’s name is Kelpie and they also showed some animation work behind the horse as well. Sadly, there was still no appearance of Geralt.
