The official Nintendo Switch 2 has been revealed and it is scheduled to launch on June 5, 2025. This was directly confirmed at the Nintendo Direct event that happened on April 2, 2025.

Mario Kart World: Launch Day (June 5, 2025)

• A flagship product that includes open-world racing, 24 player races, and new power-ups.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour: Launch Day (June 5, 2025)

• A paid digital title that serves as an interactive demo of the Switch 2’s functionality.

Survival Kids: Launch Day (June 5, 2025)

• Konami’s cooperative puzzle-action game in which up to four players must live on desolate islands.

Drag x Drive: Launch Day (June 5, 2025)

• A 3v3 wheelchair basketball game that uses the Switch 2’s new Joy-Con mouse controls, scheduled for release in the summer but available as a download at launch.

Donkey Kong Bananza – July 17, 2025.

• A 3D platformer starring DK that focuses on smashing and digging will be available just over a month after its first release.

Kirby Air Riders – 2025

• Masahiro Sakurai will direct a sequel to the GameCube game Kirby Air Ride later this year.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, Winter 2025

• Developed in collaboration with Koei Tecmo, this prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom delves into the Imprisoning War.

The Duskbloods – 2026

• This FromSoftware exclusive PvPvE multiplayer action game offers a gothic feel reminiscent of Bloodborne.
