Onimusha Way of the Sword gameplay deep dive
In demo gameplay, we can see our new protagonist of the game, Miyamoto Musashi, facing many monsters and enemies before ending up facing his arch-rival, Sasaki Ganryu.
The sword combat looks pretty simple with single-handed and two-handed attacks. You have a dodge, parry and break the guard system as well. After defeating enemies, you can absorb their souls with the help of your gauntlet.
Towards the end, we see his rival Sasaki Ganryu appear. He also has the gauntlet and we see amazing boss fights with him.
While blocking or breaking his guard, some weak points appear in mid-fight, which players will be able to use their advantage to deal additional damage. So, this is what we have seen and learn from the gameplay deep dive: light attacks, heavy strikes, blocks, parries, and Issen counters.
