Latest sources claim that Rockstar Games might be preparing for a Red Dead Redemption 2 Switch 2 port and next-gen upgrade for PS5.

The next-gen upgrade will take the current 4K 30 FPS cap to potentially 4K 60 FPS with ray tracing. The latest Take-Two Q1 2025 call confirmed that there are plans for Switch 2.

RDR2 has already sold around 70 million copies till now, which is a prime candidate alongside GTA 5.

Red Dead Redemption 2’s massive open world with cowboy action will be amazing on Switch 2, however, there is still no confirmation for the port.

Even the fans have been suggesting and begging for quite a while for the next-gen upgrade as well. They want to experience this masterpiece on 60fps as well.

Many fans on forums and social media have also warned others that they shouldn’t trust the report and rumors for now, till Rockstar confirms it.
