Rumor: Resident Evil Requiem new preview or demo might to be revealed at Capcom Spotlight Showcase

Capcom has recently announced that there is another Capcom Spotlight Showcase event scheduled, which will showcase Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata and other games.

Fans are now pretty excited to see new details and updates for both Pragmata and Resident Evil 9. Let’s find out more details in this article.

This Capcom Spotlight Showcase will be held on June 26, 2025, at 3 PM PT. This showcase will be 40 minutes long and will feature games:

• Pragmata
• Resident Evil Requiem
• Monster Hunter Wilds
• Street Fighter 6

This is what the YouTube description says about this showcase:

“We will be presenting the latest news on highly anticipated upcoming Capcom titles along with developer interviews. Please look forward to information regarding the newest update for Monster Hunter Wilds as well.”

Fans can watch the livestream on the official Capcom YouTube and Twitch channels.

What to expect?

I am pretty excited for both Pragmata and Resident Evil 9. It would be interesting to see more gameplay mechanics and a preview for Pragmata.

This game was announced in 2020 and recently got an update that it will be released in 2026.

As for Resident Evil Requiem, there is hope that we might see some new preview or demo information.

It has already been announced that at Gamescom 2025, the demo will be available to play for Resident Evil 9.

For Street Fighter 6, fans are hoping to see Sagat gameplay and the release date, which is expected to be at the end of July or early August 2025. Juri Aespa’s costume, and maybe costume 4 for the base roster.

New monsters update or maybe a DLC, can be expected to be revealed at this showcase.

These are just all my predictions; we have to wait and see what Capcom is going to showcase at the Capcom Spotlight Showcase.
