Are we in for a treat?
It’s been very quiet for the past few months but now, there are some rumors in the air about the next Sony PlayStation State of Play. Sony’s State of Play, which is known for promoting forthcoming games, hardware improvements, and communicating with fans, may return soon, possibly as early as later this month.
Before we move ahead, we have to remind you that this information is based on leaks and rumors. Nothing is officially confirmed by Sony, so take this information with a grain of salt.
Insider’s Prediction for Sony PlayStation State of Play
The previous State of Play event happened in September 2024 where Ghost of Yotei was the highlight of the show. Now, insider Roberto Serrano, who has sparked both curiosity and controversy in gaming circles, predicts that the next State of Play will take place on January 28 or 29, 2025. According to him, this is what fans can expect from the event:
- Updates for titles include Horizon Online, Ghost of YĹŤtei, Wolverine, and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.
- A likely release date announcement for Ghost of YĹŤtei.
Serrano’s inside information has piqued a lot of fans’ and gamers’ interest, however, not everyone is fully convinced right now. There were some leaks and predictions that were made by him before which were very wrong and false rumors.
Thoughts
That’s why no one is really taking it seriously and will patiently wait for the official confirmation from Sony itself. Personally, I really don’t care when the next Sony PlayStation State of Play will happen.
But what I do care about the most is what they will present at the event. This is the main thing that every fan and gamer would be looking for. Ghost of Yotei’s release date announcement would be incredible along with the latest updates on the Wolverine game.
I am sure many fans like me are waiting to get that game this year, however, it seems nearly impossible for now. What are your thoughts on this and what would like to see in the next Sony PlayStation State of Play? Do let us know in the comment section.
