Rise of the Ronin & Nioh successor: Team Ninja teases new AAA game for 2025

This might be the best news that I have heard as Team Ninja who are famous for games like Rise of the Ronin, Nioh, Wu Long, etc are about to make a comeback.

There was an interview with 4Gamer.net, where the game director Fumihiko Yasuda teased that Ninja Studio might present a new game very soon. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Team Ninja’s 30th anniversary

Ninja Studio’s 30th anniversary is on January 1, 2025. This is a very big milestone for the company and what will be better to celebrate this moment with the announcement of a new AAA game?

Their new game, Rise of the Ronin was sold very well and even faster than their old games. Despite some faults, this game was decent and fun to play. But seeing the games they have made previously, fans are really excited with this new announcement.

While Yasuda kept information under wraps, the prospect of a big surprise has supporters excited. Ninja’s track record of producing hard and engaging gameplay indicates that whatever is in the works will be worth the wait.

It might be a new part of the famous Nioh series which would be a brilliant move by them. Nioh 2 is loved by every Souls fan and this would be a huge announcement if they announced, “Nioh 3.”

Possibility of a completely new IP is still possible just like how they did with Wu Long and Rise of the Ronin. Whatever it is, I think Ninja Studio and Fumihiko Yasuda know what fans want the most and they will give them what they need.
