Return of Fahkumram

The fans are pretty excited for Tekken 8 season 2 and the recent collaborations with Karate Kid Legends & PAC-MAN, which were announced at EVO Japan 2025.

These updates, which will be available in the spring and summer of 2025, will include new characters, cosmetics, levels, and balance changes to solve Season 2’s shaky start.

Karate Kid: Legends and PAC-MAN’s Pac-Pixels stage

On June 3, 2025, the Version 2.02 update will include a Karate Kid: Legends crossover, coinciding with the film’s June 13 release date.

All characters can receive a free hoodie, and the Urban Square stage will host a “Vision Takeover” with movie-themed billboards.

Free color versions for Kuma and Panda, as well as premium classic outfits for Kuma (Tiger), Panda (Calico), and Dragunov, add flair.

Balance modifications will boost competitive play by refining character moves, particularly Heat Timer mechanisms.

Tekken 8 version 2.03 update, arriving summer 2025, will celebrate AC-MAN’s 45th anniversary with the Pac-Pixels stage. This will also include the season pass.

Expect pixelated hit effects, a free PAC-MAN Ball in Tekken Ball, and Fight Pass Round 6 goodies such as a Plushie Ghost, 45th Anniversary T-Shirt, and hit effects.

Paid cosmetics, including a wearable PAC-MAN Head, complete the lineup. The stage’s dynamic design, which includes collapsing parts, promises a nostalgic yet new experience.

Fahkumram returns as DLC fighter

Another exciting news is that Fahkumram, the Muay Thai powerhouse from Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, will join the Tekken 8 roster this summer.

He will be a part of the season 2 character and stage pass. He is known for his devastating knee and elbow strikes.

Following Anna Williams’ March 2025 debut, Fahkumram is the second of three returning fighters, with another due in the autumn and a new challenger plus stage in the winter.

Combo Breaker 2025 (May 24-26) will have a gameplay trailer for Fahkumram in Tekken 8.

Also, starting with Version 2.01 on May 13, 2025, the free Tekken Ghost Showdown mode and paid Cyber Phantom and Vigilante Tech cosmetic packs will arrive.

There will also be some balance changes and tweaks regarding the season’s heavy attack meta.
