Battle Royale in a trios format
Get ready players, as Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 is all set to launch on May 1, 2025, bringing in new, fresh content to enjoy.
Raven Software’s choice to restore Verdansk in Season 3 paid dividends, as Activision reported a large increase in player counts.
The developers have stated that Verdansk would remain through 2025, resolving worries regarding map rotation.
Verdansk moving train and new features in Warzone Season 3
One of the most iconic Verdansk moving trains is making a comeback this season, which will be running from the same access point.
Players can loot valuable things, move them, or defend them as mobile strongholds.
It’s unknown whether the train can be halted, a feature added later in Warzone’s history, but its reappearance promises pandemonium at locations such as the Train Station, which has reopened as a POI.
New gameplay additions include:
- High Value Loot Zones: Dangerous places teeming with high-end gear, luring units into heated firefights.
- Contracts: the Big Game Target the lobby’s top eliminator for a monetary prize and a 20-second Advanced UAV. The Train Recon contract allows you to upload data from a moving train, a difficult but rewarding task.
- New Vehicle: The Triumph TF 250-X, a motocross bike previously on Rebirth Island, arrives in Verdansk for quick, thrilling rides.

Ranked play
Battle Royale is back with Season 3 Reloaded, which is exclusive to the trios format. From Bronze, players will be able to climb up through seven skill divisions: up to the top 250.
This is by earning Skill Rating (SR) through eliminations, high placements, and challenges.
Your rank determines SR gains in comparison to your opponent’s, but defeats or poor performances reduce SR. Seasonal prizes are based on your best rank and include exclusive skins and emblems.
Limited-Time modes
There will also be two limited-time modes in Warzone Season 3:
- High Trip Resurgence: A chaotic mode in which players begin with predetermined weapons or fists. Look for Shades in supply caches to obtain advantages such as faster reloads, super speed, and no fall damage.
- Massive Resurgence: Supports 120 players, which increases the action. Survive to redeploy squadmates and deal with frequent engagements in this last-squad-standing duel.
New weapons
Warzone Season 3 will also introduce: The rapid Art event featuring Seth Rogen unlocks the Ladra SMG, which has a rapid fire rate, decent range, and low recoil, making it a strong mid-range contender.
The 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion for the Goblin Mk2 AR increases explosive splash damage while sacrificing bullet velocity and fire rate for area effect.
