New Delhi, November 28, 2024: The first phase of the highly anticipated WAVES Esports Championship 2025 (WESC25) in eFootball concluded with intense competition as over 450 of India’s top players showcased their skills.

Amidst this fierce display of talent, Pavan Kampelli, known as “MrTomboy,” remained undefeated and earned the prestigious honor of representing India at the Asian Esports Games, eFootball segment, in Bangkok on Saturday, November 30.

Proud moment for Indian Esports

Reflecting on his achievement, Pavan said, “Competing at such a high level in India has been an incredible experience, and this victory feels truly special. Meeting Senthil Rajan Sir was an honor, and I am deeply grateful for the encouragement that Waves Esports Championship is bringing for the Esports Players in India. Our next stop is the Asian Esports Games in Bangkok and I’m fully focused and determined to bring home another win.”

Furthermore, in a proud moment for Indian esports, Mr Senthil Rajan, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, presented the Team India jersey to Pavan, symbolizing his participation on the global stage before he left for the competition in Bangkok.
