The gamers are pretty excited as Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 DLC: Brushes with Death is launching on May 15, 2025, at 8:00 AM PDT / 11:00 AM EDT / 4:00 PM BST, as confirmed by Warhorse Studios.

The new DLC will be released alongside Update 1.3. This DLC will mark the first major story expansion, which will introduce a new storyline and new mechanics.

What to expect from Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 DLC?

The upcoming Brushes With Death DLC will show players Henry encountering Master Voyta, a painter with a shadowy past, tied up in a forest and speaking to a skull.

This enigmatic storyline, which begins early in the game, involves players assisting Voyta in creating a masterpiece, uncovering secrets, and dealing with deadly plans in the Trosky region.

Shield painting is a noteworthy feature, allowing Henry to decorate shields with distinctive patterns, colors, and icons, some of which are attainable through base game objectives.

Sadly, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 DLC: Brushes with Death is not free and will cost you a standalone purchase or part of the $29.99 Expansion Pass.

The game has already sold 3 million copies since its launch and fans are pretty hyped for the new DLC. Considered to be one of the GOTY 2025 contenders, DLC is expected to be amazing as well.

Update 1.3: Free features and balance tweaks

Now, don’t forget that Update 1.3 is a free patch that will also be introduced on May 15, 2025.

This will introduce mounted archery and horse racing minigames, complete with a side quest to guide players.

Combat in Kuttenberg becomes more challenging as opponents grow stronger, while merchants gain more Groschen, improving trading dynamics.

The update also contains bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, which provide a smoother experience across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
