One of the biggest outage
This is really the rough start for the Fortnite fans as this battle royale game servers have been crashed and caused a huge server outage right now.
As of now—Saturday, March 29, 3:24 PM IST—the outage has stretched a long time, and Epic Games is still trying to fix it as soon as possible. Let’s check out more details in this article.
When will Fortnite servers return?
As of now, there is no confirmation yet and maintenance is still going on. The last update we got was 6 hours ago as they released the official statement, “We’re working to fix an issue where players are unable to matchmake or select games in the lobby. We’ll provide an update once this has been resolved.”
At this point, many fans and players are speculating that it might take 2-4 hours more to get properly fixed. Make sure to follow us, as we will keep you guys updated once the servers are back online.

Fortnite Server Outage hits hard
The Fortnite servers fell down about 8:30 PM PDT/11:30 PM EDT on March 28 (5:00 AM IST, March 29), with users flocking to X and Reddit to express their frustration.
Epic Games and the official Fortnite account have also acknowledged the issue about the server outage and global matchmaking meltdown. They are trying to work on it and will make sure to make the server go online as soon as possible.
This is not a planned outage like the v34.20 update on March 25 (servers were back up by 7 a.m. EDT). The cause is unknown; Epic has only stated that “servers aren’t working as intended.”
The consequence is significant: the OCE Div Cup Final has been postponed (new date TBD), and players are unable to queue for Battle Royale, Creative, or anything else. For now, we can only wait patiently and wait for official confirmation.
