Next souls-like game arriving in July
Leenzee has officially announced that Wuchang Fallen Feathers will be releasing on July 24, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
This is a highly anticipated soulslike game published by 505 games and will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers release date & new gameplay trailer
Lenzee Games revealed a new gameplay trailer consisting of a full boss fight. Towards the end of the trailer, they revealed Wuchang Fallen Feathers will be releasing on July 24, 2025.
In the gameplay trailer, we see the female protagonist fighting against a boss monster, Fang Ling, in bride form.
The gameplay pretty much reminded me of Nioh and Wu Long Fallen Dynasty, fast action-packed souls-like combat with dodge, parry and block mechanics.
The weapons, skills and your build will play an important part in your fight against the monsters.
After defeating the monster in bride form, it went to the 2nd form, which was Chimera. The OST and background music during the fight were amazing as well.
This is what the official synopsis has to say about the game:
“As Wuchang, a pirate warrior cursed with the Feathering, explore forgotten temples, uncover ancient secrets, and absorb the powers of defeated bosses to become a legend forged in shadow and flame.” Set in the Ming Dynasty-inspired Shu area, the game combines historical themes with dark fantasy to provide over 60 hours of gameplay across terrifying settings such as the Nether Mountains.
