Wuthering Waves 2.2 Leaks: New 5-Star Weapons & more details

Wuthering Waves 2.2 is just on the horizon and we are already starting to get some leaks about the upcoming version. Current leaks tell us about the two exciting 5-star weapons which are about to shake the game.

One is associated with the new character Cantarella, while the other—a freebie—could belong to Rover with a sparkling new Aero touch. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Cantarella’s Signature weapon unveiled

According to the latest leaks, Cantarella, a fresh face in version 2.2, is expected to wield a powerful new 5-star weapon.

• Base ATK: 413 Second. Stat: 72% Crit DMG Passive: Increases attack by 12%. After using an Intro Skill, cast an Echo Skill within 10 seconds to get up to 3 stacks of “Hazy Dream” (one stack each unique Echo, lasting 10 seconds). Stacks vanish when you switch characters.
• Layer 1: +40% basic attack damage bonus.
• Layer 2 ignores 10% of the enemy’s Annihilation resistance.
• Layer 3: Upon an early “Hazy Dream” expiry, gain +40% Basic Attack DMG and ignore 10% Annihilation resistance for 27 seconds in Wuthering Waves 2.2.

Nothing is confirmed yet and maybe we might see some changes when the new version launches. The emphasis on stacking buffs and crit damage on this weapon may make Cantarella a strong hitter, ideal for players who enjoy chaining skills. I think this will also work better in combos as well.

Aero Rover’s Free 5-Star Sword

Rover’s supposed to unlock the Aero Attribute in 2.2, and leaks from WuWaLand claim a new signature Sword comes with it. It is also expected that this might be free.

• Base ATK: 588 Second. Stat: 38% Energy Regen in Wuthering Waves 2.2.
• Passive: Healing increases Resonance Skill Damage by 26% for 15 seconds. When an Aero Rover lands a Resonance Skill hit, the target’s Aero resistance decreases by 20.8% for thirty seconds.
• With strong base ATK and energy regen, this Sword increases Rover’s skill damage while reducing opponents’ defenses. A free 5-star rating like this may be a game-changer for all gamers, especially if it is as adaptable as it claims for Wuthering Waves 2.2.
