Davis Riley won tournament, earning a prize of $1.638 million
The 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge, an annual PGA Tour event held at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, saw 27-year-old PGA Tour player Davis Riley win the tournament, earning a prize of $1.638 million. Riley, who entered the final round with a four-shot lead over world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, maintained his composure and extended his lead to six shots at one point on the back nine.
He carded an even-par 70 in the final round, finishing the tournament at 14-under par, five shots clear of Keegan Bradley and Scottie Scheffler who tied for second place. Riley’s victory secured his second career victory on the PGA Tour. The tournament took place from May 23-26, 2024.

Davis Riley won his first individual PGA Tour win at the Charles Schwab Challenge, earning a prize of $1.638 million, a restored 1975 Stingray car, and a traditional plaid winner’s jacket. This was the largest payday of his career and a significant boost to his season earnings and FedEx Cup standings.
