India arrive in the fixture on the back of a close win over hosts Malaysia in a seven-goal thrilling game yesterday while New Zealand thrashed Canada 4-2 to continue their unbeaten run in the competition.
Belgium are the only other side yet to lose a match so far in the tournament while India’s only defeat so far came against Belgium, with the Men in Blue going down 2-3.
India had started the tournament with a close win over Korea (1-0), but have conceded two goals in each of their last two matches.
Meanwhile, New Zealand were held by hosts Malaysia 3-3 in their tournament opener. They then defeated Korea 3-1 and routed Canada 4-2 to take the second spot in the points table.
