China joined them as the second qualifier, registering one win and a draw, and finishing with a healthy +11 goal difference. Japan also managed a win and a draw but fell behind on goal difference, missing out on progression. Kazakhstan endured a dismal campaign, suffering three straight defeats, conceding 35 goals, and finishing bottom of the pool.

In Pool B, Malaysia were unstoppable, winning all three of their matches with a staggering +21 goal difference to secure qualification for the Super 4 stage as group leaders. Defending champions South Korea followed them through, finishing second with two wins and one loss.

Bangladesh managed one victory but fell short of progressing after conceding 12 goals across their fixtures. Meanwhile, Chinese Taipei endured a tough campaign, losing all three of their matches with a –27 goal difference and exited at the group stage.
