PKL 10 Semifinal 2: Players to watch out for in Jaipur Pink Panthers vs Haryana Steelers

These players will play a major role in helping their team qualify for the final.

The Eliminators of PKL 10 unfolded a lot of action, drama and suspense. While Patna PIrates defeated Dabang Delhi following and intriguing encounter, Haryana Steelers got the better of the Gujarat Giants with a thumping win in Hyderabad.

The Pirates will face Puneri Paltan and Haryana Steelers will go up against the Jaipur Pink Panthers. The Pink Panthers have the upper hand going into this fixture having won all the games against the Steelers this season.

Jaipur Pink Panthers

Arjun Deshwal

Arjun Deshwal is Jaipur Pink Panthers’ main man upfront. The raider is second on the list of the best raiders in the league with 262 points. He’s only 14 points behind Ashu Malik who is now out of the tournament and Arjun will hope to close the gap in the upcoming match. He will be hoping to take his side to yet another final and defend the title. Arjun loves playing against the Steelers as he has scored 25 points against them this season.

Ankush

Ankush is Jaipur’s leader at the back. He is the best defender for his side and is ranked sixth in the list of most tackle points with 69 points in 21 games. He had an impressive debut season last year and has continued to impress despite being so young. Known for his strength and agility, the 20-year-old defender has already established himself as one of the top defenders of the league.

Haryana Steelers

Vinay

Vinay did what he does best in the eliminator against the Gujarat Giants. He lived up to all the expectations and dropped in a masterclass of a performance. The raider scored 12 crucial points for his side and helped them cruise past the Giants. He has already scored 151 points and has recorded his best-ever figures in the league. He stands in the tenth position in the list of the highest points scorers this season.

Shivam Patare

What an incredible debut season this youngster has had. He has come out all guns blazing in his first season in the PKL and has given everyone a glimpse of what he brings to the table. Shivam has been an excellent support system to Vinay in the raiding department. He has scored 107 points this season, including a crucial 8-point tally against Gujarat Giants in the eliminator. Moreover, he put in a wonderclass performance the last time these two sides came across each other.
