Dabang Delhi vs Tamil Thalaivas: All time Head-to-Head record in Pro Kabaddi
Dabang Delhi hold a four-win lead over Tamil Thalaivas in Pro Kabaddi League.
Season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11) has reached its peak competitiveness with the points table changing after every match. The Hyderabad leg is coming to its end and two teams will look to end it with a win. Dabang Delhi is coming from a thrilling win against Bengal Warriorz having suffered four losses before the win.
The start in the Pro Kabaddi League hasn’t been fruitful for Dabang Delhi having won two and lost five matches before their PKL 11 previous matches against Bengal Warriorz. Injuries to Siddharth Desai and Naveen Kumar might have weakened the Raiding department, but Ashu Malik has stood alone and been the leading Raider of the season for the second consecutive time.
Their defence has been a worrying factor with Yogesh Dahiya struggling to put in consistent performances. For a team coached by Joginder Narwal, it is disheartening for the fans to see their defensive fort being breached. On the other hand, their opponents Tamil Thalaivas have suffered two consecutive defeats in the last two matches.

It is once again the defence of Tamil Thalaivas that made too many unforced errors which gifted the match their opponents. Both teams will be eager to end the Hyderabad leg with a win. The five points will not only keep them in good stead but also boost their confidence given their head-to-head records in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League.

History repeats itself in season seven, as Delhi again won a thriller with the same scoreline. The match was tied at 29-29 and it was a Do-or-Die raid for young Naveen Kumar, who got the better the experienced Manjeet Chillar to get the win.
The nightmare for the Thalaivas continued in the next Pro Kabaddi League season as well as they again suffered a defeat by a point. It was again a Do-or-Die raid for Naveen and this time, Manjeet Chillar was on the other side. The Naveen Express was unstoppable as he won the match and the title for the team from the Nation’s capital.
It took them five Pro Kabaddi League seasons for Thalaivas to register their first-ever win against the Dabangs’ thanks to a stupendous Raiding domination from Narender Kandola who scored a whopping 24 points to get the elusive win. In the reverse fixture of season nine, it was a tie as both teams shared the honors among themselves.
Incidentally, the tied match happened at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium which is set to host the Friday night thriller. In the previous Pro Kabaddi League season, both battled in their opening encounter of the season with men in yellow triumphing at the end and Dabang Delhi got their revenge in the next match which denied them a chance to compete for the playoff for Thalaivas.
