The twelfth match of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 (PKL 11) will see two teams with contrasting starts, facing off on the mat. The Gujarat Giants managed to defeat a strong Bengaluru Bulls outfit by a margin of 36-32 in their PKL 11 opener. What was heartening for them, was that there were contributions from a number of players in both offense and defence.

On the other hand, U Mumba made several individual errors against Dabang Delhi, which meant that they couldn’t emerge with even a point from the match, losing their PKL 11 opener 36-28. While their star signings failed to create any impact, they had many positives to take away from their match on the opening night of the tournament.

Fantasy Dream11 Prediction for GUJ vs MUM PKL 11

The Gujarat Giants are set to take on U Mumba now in PKL 11, in what should be an exciting clash at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on Wednesday.

The Giants had a confidence-boosting victory against the Bulls. Their big PKL 11 signing, Guman Singh could only muster six points in the team’s opening clash. He would be hoping to make a bigger contribution against a side, for whom he was the top scorer in the last two seasons. Skipper Neeraj Kumar surprisingly couldn’t open his account.

However, the others stepped up and collectively fired. Parteek Dahiya scored eight points, while Himanshu Singh came in as a substitute and scored seven points. However, the best player on the mat that day was Sombir, who scored six tackle points, with six successful attempts in seven tackles.

On the other hand, U Mumba made a number of silly errors, including a flurry of self-outs at crucial junctures, which cost them the game against Delhi. Skipper Sunil Kumar, the most expensive Indian defender in PKL history, couldn’t score a single point and was sent to the bench four times. Strike raider Manjeet and left corner Sombir too couldn’t open their account, while Parvesh Bhainswal scored a solitary tackle point.

However, the night belonged to Ajit Chavan. The raider, on his PKL 11 debut, managed to reach a Super 10, with more than 15 minutes left on the clock. All-rounder Amirmohammad Zafardanesh scored a total of 11 points but made five unsuccessful raids in super tackle situations, which potentially cost his side the match. Rinku too had a decent outing, with three tackle points.

Both sides will be hoping that their marquee players come into form in what will be the second match of the PKL 11 for both teams, as they aim to stake an early claim at one of the top six positions.
