India 35-28 Chinese Taipei Highlights - Women's Kabaddi World Cup 2025 Final

India and Chinese Taipei will now face each other in the final to lift the prestigious Kabaddi World Cup trophy. Chinese Taipei would like to avenge their 1-point loss in the Asian Games final, while India aims to add another piece of silverware to their collection.

From Group A, India entered the semis as the table toppers, remaining unbeaten in all 4 games. On the other hand, hosts Bangladesh secured second position with 3 wins out of 4 matches.
In Group B, Chinese Taipei dominated, winning all five of their matches to finish at the top, while Iran finished second with four wins from five games. All four teams stepped onto the mat with one dream: to book their ticket to the Final of the second Women’s Kabaddi World Cup.
The semi-finals of the Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025 took place on Sunday, 23rd November, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, amid high energy and an electrifying atmosphere. The four teams that made it to this crucial stage were India, Bangladesh, Chinese Taipei, and Iran.

But as the nature of sports goes, only two teams marched forward, while the other two had to bid farewell to their dreams of lifting the World Cup trophy. India won the first semi-final, while Chinese Taipei emerged victorious in the second.
Semi-finals Results
The first semi-final was played between India and Iran, a repeat of the inaugural final. The match began evenly with both teams exchanging points, but India gradually took control and built a 5-point lead by halftime. In the second half, India maintained their dominance with strong raids and solid defending.
They eventually won the match 33–21, ending Iran’s campaign. Sanju Devi was the standout performer, contributing with crucial raids and tackles when it mattered the most.
In the second semi-final, Chinese Taipei faced Bangladesh. The match started evenly. There was little difference between the two teams after the first half. However, in the second half, the Chinese Taipei players held their nerves and clinched a thrilling victory 25–18.
