PKL 11: Bengaluru Bulls coach denies Pardeep Narwal's injury claims
Pardeep Narwal-led Bengaluru Bulls are currently at the 11th spot in the points table.
Season 6 champion team Bengaluru Bulls suffered a major setback in the middle of Season 11, with the team’s star raider and captain Pardeep Narwal ruled out for six to eight weeks from Pro Kabaddi League 2024 PKL 11 following an injury.
As reported by Khel Now earlier, Pardeep Narwal has been ruled out for six weeks or eight weeks depending on the intensity of the injury, however, coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat denied the star raider being out of PKL 11 for such a long time.

“Do not go by the rumours on social media, Pardeep Narwal does not have a knee injury. He has a partial tear in one of the muscles and if my deduction is right then he will be back for the next match. I am 99 percent sure if not 100,” said coach Sehrawat speaking to the media after the loss against Jaipur Pink Panthers.
“He does have an injury but it is nothing so serious. I pulled him out for precautions, if nothing big comes up he will play the next match on the 16th,” coach Randhir added.
This means that Bengaluru Bulls will be without their star raider and captain till the end of the PKL 11 league stage.
Pardeep Narwal revealed his injury
However, earlier following the game against Bengal Warriorz, Pardeep Narwal had himself confirmed his discomfort by speaking to the media.
“I have pulled a muscle or something, my muscle feels tight, so coach had taken me off,” Narwal was quoted saying.
Now with the coach denying Pardeep’s condition, it remains to be seen whether the star raider comes for the PKL 11 game against Dabang Delhi on November 16.
Coming to tomorrow’s game, Arjun Deshwal delivered a stellar solo performance in PKL 11, leading the Jaipur Pink Panthers to a 39-32 victory over the Bengaluru Bulls. Bulls’ raider Ajinkya Pawar initially surprised Jaipur with early points in the absence of Pardeep Narwal. However, Deshwal kept Jaipur in the game, scoring seven raid points to close the gap by halftime.
The Jaipur Pink Panthers took control in the second half, with Deshwal completing his fourth Super 10 of PKL 11 and leading his team to inflict two ALL-OUTs on Bengaluru. Despite Ajinkya’s milestone of 500 raid points, the Bulls couldn’t recover. Jaipur ultimately clinched a seven-point win while Bengaluru Bulls remained in the 11th position with seven losses in nine games.
