The Dubki King, Pardeep Narwal, had the worst performance last season.

Pardeep Narwal is the biggest name in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. Narwal is the only player with over 1800 raid points in the PKL. He achieved this feat in the last match of the Bengaluru Bulls in season 11. However, the worst season of Narwal’s PKL career was PKL 11. He certainly has a lot left in him, and the Bulls management will surely realise that.

Pardeep Narwal has been the most successful and consistent player in the PKL history. Narwal’s magic began to bloom in season 3 when he got picked up by the Patna Pirates, and the rest is history. Season 5 stands out for the veteran as he scored 369 raid points in a single season with 19 Super-10s. Even after this, he continued his dominance and became the top raid-point holder in the league’s history.

A flop comeback to the first franchise

Last season, Pardeep Narwal returned to where it all began. Narwal was included in the Bulls in Season 2 by coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat. After a long gap of eight seasons, he returned to Bengaluru Bulls last season, but unfortunately, had a poor outing.

The Dubki King, who also led the team, could only score 111 raid points in 20 matches, with an average of 5.55 points per match. This was the worst season for the veteran in his PKL career. On a broader note, Narwal hasn’t looked his best in the last 2 seasons, where he has scored just 233 raid points in 37 matches with an average of 6.29 points per match.

Looking at the previous records, Narwal has scored 1312 raid points in 115 matches (Season 5 to Season 9) at an average of 11.4 points per match. The stats clearly show the difference in his performance. However, his achievements and skills can never be underestimated, and the upcoming season could be a comeback season for the veteran raider.

Despite the bad season, no one doubts how quickly he can turn things around. Bengaluru Bulls would surely be staying with Narwal’s experience. The new management, led by BC Ramesh, will try to ensure that they make the most of Narwal’s skills and experience, so that the player aligns with their ambitions and builds a new team based on his strengths in the upcoming auction.

What do you think Bengaluru Bulls will do? Will they retain PKL‘s most successful raider or release him before the auction?
