Some raiders in the PKL have made it a habit of getting Super 10s in back-to-back matches.

Kabaddi has become one of the most watched sports in India, thanks to the Pro Kabaddi League, which has not only unearthed talents across India but also taken the game to the nook and corner of the country. It’s a short but action-packed contest, which makes it interesting to watch.

The action has been driven by the raiders, who venture into the opposition side to get a point. A raider could get a point by either touching the opposition defender and coming back to his side safely or going over the bonus line with six or more defenders on the opposition side. If a raider gets 10 or more points in a game, it is referred to as a Super-10.

Here’s a list of overseas raiders with the most Super 10s in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League.

10. Siddharth Desai – 34

Siddharth Desai took the PKL by storm in season six as he created multiple records. Playing for U Mumba, the lanky raider used his height to his advantage to send opposition defenders to the bench. Making his debut in the Maharashtra Derby, Siddharth managed to score 15 Raid points. He continued his merry way throughout the season scoring 218 Raid Points in 21 matches with 12 Super 10s.

Telugu Titans roped him for the next three seasons, which was a topsy-turvy journey with 18 Super 10s along with injuries troubling him. Fans could see more Super 10s if a fit-enough Siddharth turns up.

9. Deepak Niwas Hooda – 35

Deepak Niwas Hooda became a household name in the league’s initial days, thanks to his all-round skills. He primarily contributed as a raider for the first season for the Titans and then with Puneri Paltan. His exploits helped them make their best finish in PKL history. Notably, his Super 10 against a strong defensive duo of Surender Nada and Mohit Chhillar in season seven was a joy to watch.

While he has scored over 1000 raid points with 35 Super 10s, his performances have waned away in the recent past which is disappointing.

8. Sachin Tanwar – 38

It is always heartening to see talent and hard work come together. Sachin Tanwar is one player who is not only a gifted athlete but also works hard on his game. He has always relished playing under pressure and his success rate in do-or-die raids is a clear indication of the same. Sachin grinds his way through a raid and waits for his moment to get the better of the defender.

In the seven seasons that he has been part of the PKL, Sachin has 38 Super 10s. Although the 26-year-old had a season to forget in PKL 12, he is known to make comebacks and PKL fans would want to see him score more Super 10s.

7. Ashu Malik – 38

There is a famous saying that “when the Going gets tough, the tough get going.” Ashu Malik’s emergence is the case in point of the saying. He was used as a backup raider by Dabang Delhi in his maiden season, in which they went on to clinch the trophy. Realising his potential, he and Naveen Kumar forged a brilliant partnership to take them to the Eliminator.

But an injury to Naveen in the next season meant that Ashu had to take up the responsibility and he took it as fish to water, scoring Super 10s after Super 10s. He scored 33 Super 10s in the last two seasons compared to his six in the first two seasons. He will be raring to score more in the coming years.

6. Rahul Chaudhari – 42

The Pro Kabaddi League has become the second most-watched league in India. One man with his raiding pyrotechnics contributed a lot to grabbing the attention of the world. Rahul Chaudhari was the guy doing it, and he was called the “Show Man” for the same. His speed, agility, and kicks often caught the defender off guard.

Rahul’s heroics in the Telugu Titans Jersey was a sight to watch, and fans will miss him as he announced his retirement from PKL after going unsold in the Season 11 Auction. With 42 Super 10s, he ranks sixth in the list of most Super 10s.

5. Arjun Deshwal – 63

Arjun Deshwal is known for calmness as much as for raiding. More than the offensive duties, his mental strength in tough situations has played a huge difference. Probably the fact that he shares his birth date with a certain MS Dhoni, and that has a thing or two to do with it. Arjun started his PKL career with U Mumba for two years before moving to Jaipur Pink Panthers in season eight.

Deshwal contributed big time in taking the Panthers to the final in PKL and bringing back the title to Jaipur in season nine, scoring 293 points and 17 Super 10s. It includes a streak of 12 consecutive Super 10s. He has been the pillar of Jaipur and will add more to the tally of 63 in the coming years.

4. Naveen Kumar – 66

Naveen Kumar has been one of the best raiders in the PKL, especially in the last eight years where most have struggled for consistency, Naveen has bettered himself. Nicknamed the “Naveen Express”, he has been with Dabang Delhi right from the start of his career. The Naveen Express has been unstoppable in his PKL career.

Notably, in seasons seven and eight, he had an astounding 28 Consecutive Super 10s, which culminated in Delhi lifting the title in the eighth season. He has the best Super 10 conversion rate among 10 players in the list.

Pawan Sehrawat

Nicknamed the “Hi-Flyer“, Pawan Sehrawat has been the most sought-after player in the PKL auctions. His habit of cleaning down the opposition in a raid or two is always a threat. The man from Chandigarh had a habit of quickly completing a Super 10. Though he made his first appearance in season three, Pawan’s presence was felt in season six when he guided the Bengaluru Bulls to the title with 286 Raid Points and 13 Super 10s.

The next season, he scored a mind-boggling 360 points with 18 Super 10s. The season saw him score 39 points in a game, which is the most in PKL history. From Bengaluru, he has shifted his base to Titans and is trying to resurrect them. With 70 Super 10s, he might be third but will soon try to dismantle the top two.

The “Mighty” Maninder Singh was the star of the inaugural edition of PKL as he played a pivotal role in the title triumph of Jaipur Pink Panthers, scoring 130 raid points, including five Super 10s. But an injury ruled him out for the next three seasons. He made a brilliant comeback in season five in Bengal Warriorz colors and has become an icon of the franchise and the league.

He helped Bengal win their maiden PKL title in season seven and averaged 10.25 for the season. In season eight, he achieved a unique feat of 100% raid contribution, scoring all 17 Raid points that his team registered in a game. The Punjabi powerhouse has a few years left in him and would want to add more to the 78 Super 10s.

Pardeep Narwal is the guy who creates breathtaking records and has a habit of breaking them as well. He holds multiple records in the league—most points, most Raid Points, most Super 10s, and Super Raids. Although he started his career with the Bengaluru Bulls, it was his stint with the Patna Pirates that made him one of the fan favourites.

He and his team won three consecutive championships thanks to his 623 raid points and 29 Super 10s. He wore the Green Jersey for two more seasons, scoring 30 Super 10s. The “Dubki King” then moved to UP Yoddhas, racking up 26 Super 10s. He had a forgettable Season 11 with the Bulls, and fans would want to see him get back to his scoring spree.
