The former Real Madrid gaffer was linked to Juventus as their new sporting director, but would prefer to stay in management. He also had plans to manage the France national team, but their World Cup success means that Didier Deschamps will continue.

Barcelona to wait for Adrien Rabiot

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will wait till January to sign PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot. Rabiot rejected his club's latest contract offer, so the Catalans hope to agree a deal before the end of this month.

The Frenchman will be a free agent next summer, but the Ligue 1 club might refuse to sell him before 31st August 2018, in the hope that he will agree to a new contract. Barca are happy to wait and seek a transfer in the winter transfer window.
