Transfer Talk: Zinedine Zidane to the Premier League? Simon Mignolet to Napoli?
Barcelona director Ariedo Braida has stated that it is highly unlikely his club will sign Paul Pogba this summer.
With the transfer window in all major European countries about to end, managers and clubs have a few feathers to sort out and could tweak their squads with a few last-minute reinforcements.
In this article, we at Khel Now will take you through the important transfer news of the day:
Simon Mignolet to fly to Italy?
Simon Mignolet's agent has revealed that Napoli are in talks to sign the Belgian goalkeeper from Liverpool, reports La Derniere Heure. After the arrival of Alisson from Roma, he has fallen down the pecking order.
The Serie A outfit are looking for a goalkeeper to reinforce their squad after the injury to Alex Meret.
Paul Pogba to stay in England!
Barcelona director Ariedo Braida has stated that it is highly unlikely his club will sign Paul Pogba this summer. The La Liga champions had a part-exchange bid rejected earlier in August. Braida stated, "I do not think we are going to sign Paul Pogba, even if he is a great player."
Zinedine Zidane to England?
FIFA World Cup winner Zinedine Zidane is hoping to succeed Jose Mourinho as Manchester United manager. The former Real Madrid gaffer was linked to Juventus as their new sporting director, but would prefer to stay in management. He is aiming for a move to the Premier League and particularly Old Trafford, for a potential return, reports Le'Equipe.
He also had plans to manage the France national team, but their World Cup success means that Didier Deschamps will continue.
Barcelona to wait for Adrien Rabiot
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will wait till January to sign PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot. Rabiot rejected his club's latest contract offer, so the Catalans hope to agree a deal before the end of this month.
The Frenchman will be a free agent next summer, but the Ligue 1 club might refuse to sell him before 31st August 2018, in the hope that he will agree to a new contract. Barca are happy to wait and seek a transfer in the winter transfer window.

Diego Laxalt and Samu Castillejo to San Siro?
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are expected to complete the signing of Genoa left wing-back Diego Laxalt, with Villareal's Samu Castillejo expected to follow suit.

Alex Sandro to stay in Italy
It is also being reported widely that Juventus have rejected a £53m bid for Alex Sandro from Paris Saint-Germain. The left-back has been a target for a lot of big European clubs, but the Serie A club have rejected all offers and are set to offer him a new contract.
