In the upcoming set of fixtures, Sergio Aguero will lead the line alongside Callum Wilson.

The Match of the Week saw Manchester City see off a toothless Tottenham side, that lacked a cutting edge. The fixture in Wembley was determined by an early Riyad Mahrez goal. In Selhurst Park, Arsenal’s winning run was halted by Crystal Palace who held the Gunners to a 2-2 draw. Manchester United managed to see off Everton’s challenge, while Chelsea and Liverpool registered comfortable wins against Burnley and Cardiff respectively to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Gameweek 10 Review

With several regular players being rested, this week proved to be a very testing one. Captain Andrew Robertson was left out of the starting eleven during his side's fixture against Cardiff. Eden Hazard was also rested against Burnley. With Andrew Robertson not featuring during the whole game, James Maddison was made the captain. However, the Leicester midfielder only managed four points in his side’s draw against West Ham.

Marcos Alonso and Callum Wilson were the star performers of the week with 11 and 13 points respectively. The full-back registered a clean sheet and got an assist while the Bournemouth striker scored two goals as the Cherries fended off Fulham. Richarlison got an FPL assist, for his role in the penalty against Manchester United, and ended up with five points while Steve Cook registered a clean sheet to gain the same. However, the remaining five players had only 11 points, leaving the total well below average.

Gameweek 11 Transfers

James Tarkowski and Burnley have been a shadow of their former self from last year. Possible replacements for the defender are Matt Doherty and Shane Duffy. Both the players have a particular set of tough fixtures coming up, especially Doherty’s Wolves who face Spurs and Arsenal in the next two gameweeks.

Sergio Aguero has been made the captain and his side face Southampton at home. Triple Captain has been activated for the week. Richarlison is made the vice-captain, as the Toffees face Brighton at home. The formation is changed to a 3-5-2. Andrew Robertson, Marcos Alonso and James Tarkowski start in defence, with Steve Cook and Aron-Wan Bissaka dropping out due to their tough fixtures, against Manchester United and Chelsea respectively. James Maddison, Mesut Ozil, Gerard Deulofeu and Eden Hazard start alongside Richarlison. In attack, Aleksandar Mitrovic drops to the bench due to his poor form. Callum Wilson starts alongside Sergio Aguero. David de Gea will be the custodian, with Ryan on the bench.

Emirates Stadium is where the focus is this week, as Arsenal welcome Liverpool, one of the three unbeaten teams in the league. Emery’s men are yet to be defeated after two losses in their first two games in the league, and will look to continue their unbeaten run and also end the Reds’ run. Manchester City face Southampton at the Etihad, while Chelsea welcome Crystal Palace to Stanford Bridge. Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth face Manchester United at home, while Wolverhampton face a tough challenge with Tottenham coming to the Molineux.
