The India international was the leading domestic light on a night that belonged to the striker.

On yet another chilly night in the national capital, Delhi Dynamos extend their winless streak after a humiliating defeat to Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League, as the visitors romped to a 1-3 win thanks to an Iain Hume hat-trick.

Watch: Delhi Dynamos 1-3 Kerala Blasters highlights

Delhi Dynamos

Pritam Kotal - 7.0

Kotal goal

The best right-back of the nation led from the front trying to bring home a point for his team. Deadly on set-pieces, Pritam Kotal headED home the equalizer at the 41st minute mark through a long free-kick taken by Romeo Fernandes.

The Right-wing pairing of Pritam and Romeo has been in a tremendous form. However, playing as a right wing back, Kotal did not do much on the defensive front as expected.

Rowilson Rodrigues - 6.0

Rowilson Rodrigues played like a tank and almost kept Iain Hume in check. Even before the first quarter of the game was over, he collided with the Canadian and both the players were seen with a bandage over their heads.

Playing on the right of a back three, Rowilson won 90% of the duels and made three interceptions. He leaked the winning goal of the game when Hume tucked in to dodge him and net home.

Romeo Fernandes - 7.0

Romeo chance

The highlight of the Delhi contingent was the player running up and down the right flank. He assisted the only goal scored by the Dynamos with his inch perfect curling ball from a set-piece. The first three attempts on goal came through him with none of them being on target. He was subbed off at the 65th minute by Guyon Fernandes.

Lalianzuala Chhangte- 6.5

Chhangte chance

The next big thing of Indian football did not do much to amaze the fans and kept up his below-par performances. He played as an inverted left winger, often linking his play with David Nghaite and Nandhakumar Sekar. but could not turn the page in the final third. The only shot he could place on target was easily saved by the opposition goalkeeper.

Nandhakumar Sekar - 6.0

The on-loan player from Chennai City FC did not disappoint at all. His long balls, dribbles, and passing success rate were a testament to that. Playing in a transformed box-to-box cum right midfield atrole he was rather easily dispossessed but his rebounds kept his flare in the game.

David Nghaite - 6.0

The lone striker of the Dynamos often tracked back in defense and could not make much impact on the game. He was seen abandoning his primary duties as a striker and that cost Delhi a few chances.

Substitutes:

Arnab Das Sharma - 4.5

He was substituted at the 45+9th minute mark when new shot-stopper Xabi Irureta suffered an injury. In the 45 minutes Das played, he let in two goals.

Seityasen Singh - N/A

he did not play enough time to receive a rating. Came on in the 79th minute for Chhangte, completed four passes.

Kerala Blasters

Subhasish Roy Chowdhury - 6.5

One of the least troubled players on the pitch. Delhi did not play enough to send the ball towards the goal and the Blasters’ keeper had almost nothing to do except when he conceded a goal from a set-piece.

Rino Anto - 6.5

The Blasters right-back had a rather forgettable 90 minutes of the game. He was quite frequently overlapped and dominated by the pairing of Jeroen Lumu and Chhangte. In his defensive work, he committed a few fouls that could have cost the team, but fortunately Hume saved the Yellow rmy.

Sandesh Jhingan - 7.0

The leader of the Blasters’ was a bit tacky in the backline, prone to committing fouls. However, his experience and maturity saved  the team on many occasions, Eight clearances and three interceptions are a testament to that.

Lalruatthara – 6.0

Probably the most troubled player on the field. The left-back could not cope with the pairing of Romeo and Kotal and was not up to the desired level of performance.

Siam Hanghal - 7.0

The Manipuri midfielder was one of the unsung heroes for Kerala. The #6 for the yellow team shielded the back four with ease. His defensive prowess allowed the other midfielders like Keziron and Dimitar Berbatov to raid ahead in hunt for goals over the 90 minutes.

Jackichand Singh - 6.0

Probably the only one that did not work for the Blasters was the left wing player Jackichand Singh. Despite being in a counter-attacking team, he was stuck between the pairing of Lumu and Chhangte. Being a forward, he have had more impact in making interceptions and tackles rather than forward runs. He was subbed off at the 90th minute by Loken Meitei.

Substitutes

Milan Singh - NA

Came on in the 88th minute mark for Iain Hume. Did not spend enough time on the pitch to get a rating.
