Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Bengaluru FC have announced the signing of 28-year-old winger, Xisco Hernandez. Bengaluru announced the arrival of the former Atletico Baleares winger on their social media accounts.
Hernandez becomes the third Spanish player of the current BFC squad. He joins another former Mallorca youth product Juanan and Gramenet's Dimas Delgado.
“I’m very grateful for this opportunity of playing for Bengaluru FC. They are a big team in the region and I’m eager and excited to come to India. At the same time, I realise the responsibility of playing for one of the best teams in the country is huge. It’s going to be a challenge for me, but I'm very happy to belong to the Blue family now and I will be giving my very best,” expressed Xisco after completing formalities with the Super Cup winners.
Xisco started his youth career with Mallorca before playing for their 'B' side for two seasons. Later on, he had short stints with Peurtollano, Lleida Esportiu and Reus before finally moving to Atletico Baleares. He featured 96 times for them scoring 28 goals.
