We at Khel Now will take you through the ratings of the Indian players involved in the game.
Chennaiyin FC
Karanjit Singh – 5.5
The goalkeeper was reinstated to the Chennaiyin FC starting line-up against Delhi. The Chennaiyin number one failed to register a single save in the game and shipped in three goals. All in all, a forgettable return to the side for Karanjit.
Tondonba Singh – 6.0
The left-back made a few important interceptions and clearances in the first half but was often caught out of position in the second. He failed to threaten with his crosses and was part of a shambolic Chennaiyin back line. Singh made four clearances and had a 73% pass accuracy.
Germanpreet Singh – 6.5
The midfielder was a commanding presence for his side in the first half. He ended the game with a respectable passing accuracy of 85%. Germanpreet was often crowded out in the second half when Chennaiyin poured men forward in search of a goal.
Thoi Singh – 5.5
It was a rare poor outing for Chennaiyin FC’s top scorer. Thoi Singh looked a shadow of his true self with several misplaced passes and crosses all through the game. The forward had no shots on target and a dismal passing accuracy of 38%.
Anirudh Thapa – 5.5
Another one of Chennaiyin’s usual standout performers, Thapa, failed to perform against Delhi. The 20-year-old pulled off a few of his trademark pinged passes but also failed to retain possession on several occasions, giving the ball away very cheaply. His usually dangerous freekicks often did not beat the first man against Delhi.
Francisco Fernandes – 5.0
Fernandes was a peripheral figure for most of the match, giving away possession whenever he received the ball. A 67% pass accuracy and no shots on target are a reflection of a poor outing for the Chennaiyin man.
Substitutions
Jeje Lalpekhlua – 6.0
The star striker came on late in the game and failed to make any real impact. Surprisingly, the 27-year-old is yet to open his account for the season.
Isaac Vanmalsawma – 5.5
Isaac was dropped from the starting line up by John Gregory and failed to take his chance to prove his worth to the side when he came on. He failed to roll a simple pass to Thoi Singh, which would have seen the forward be clean through on goal, potentially giving Chennai the lead.

Delhi Dynamos
Pritam Kotal – 6.5
The right-back had a solid game in defence for Delhi, making three tackles and four clearances. However, his attacking work left much to be desired as he failed to deliver a single cross over the 90 minutes.
Mohammad Dhot – 5.0
Delhi’s left-back had a horrible game against the reigning champions, giving away a penalty that led to Chennai’s equalizer and also earning himself a yellow card for a rash tackle on Tondonba that could have ended much worse than it actually did.
Nandhakumar Sekar – 8.5

The Chennai lad playing for Delhi had a dream game in his hometown bagging himself a goal and an assist. He managed four crosses over the course of the game, one of which fell to the head of Daniel who buried the chance for Delhi’s opening goal.
Bikramjit Singh – 7.5
The former Chennaiyin man had a point to prove on his return to his former stomping ground. He had a strong presence in midfield and found himself on the end of an inch-perfect pass following a flowing counter-attacking move to slot past Karanjit into the Chennaiyin net.
Lallianzuala Chhangte – 6.5
The Delhi forward bagged himself an assist but had a rather subdued game for the Dynamos by his standards. However, he managed to cause a few problems for the Chennaiyin defence and had a huge part to play in the second goal.
Daniel Lalhlimpuia – 6.5
The youngster opened the scoring for his side in the early part of the game with a glancing header of Nandhakumar’s cross but failed to make much of an impact later in the game. He had only 15 touches of the ball before he was hauled off by his manager.
Substitutions
Shubham Sarangai- N/A
The midfielder was not on the pitch long enough to make much of an impact.
