The Los Blancos have started afresh with the Frenchman at the helm.
With Zinedine Zidane's arrival at the helm of Real Madrid, the Los Blancos returned to form and the exiled players who were out of favour under Santiago Solari, returned with good outings in their 2-0 win over Celta Vigo.
Both Isco and Marcelo who were out of favour returned to the fray under Zidane as the Frenchman assured that the players will have a crucial part to play for the club. While players like Gareth Bale and Keylor Navas also returned with top performances on their return.
The Costa Rican custodian played second fiddle after Thibaut Courtois's arrival to Santiago Bernabeu in the summer transfer window. While academy graduate Sergio Reguilon filled in for an out of favour Marcelo.
"Nobody here, or anywhere, can take away what these players have done here. I have a squad of 23, 24, 25 players and will count on them all," said Zidane. The Frenchman had assured the fans that the players with whom he won three successive Champions League titles will not be standing down anymore and will be playing key roles in the rest of the season.
"Thibaut and Reguilon have done well until now, others too. But at the same time, Keylor is very good, Marcelo too, Isco too. I must count on these players, as they are good players, but I will count on them all. I just know the players they are, they have shown it before here. I am going to count on them. They showed that today, those who had played less - Keylor, Marcelo, Isco, Marco [Asensio] - all of them," said the Frenchman.
Zidane's re-appointment bring a breath of fresh air and positivity in the Real Madrid camp which was otherwise pretty dull for most of this season. The French tactician is once again with a plan and the fans did witness a change in fortune against Celta Vigo, as Zidane felt that his team gradually became better into the contest.

"The feelings are positive. We got a good result in the end, it's what we were looking for, an important result," Zidane's reaction at the post-match press conference.
"We did not start the game well, that is normal. We needed to have patience and the end of the first half was better. The second half much better. So, I am happy."

"What I liked most of all was that we had more than 20 crosses, and in the end we got there and finished one off. That gives us chances to score goals, and we did."
With this win over Celta, Real Madrid are again rejuvenated to fight against all odds and end their season on a high. The Los Blancos will like to finish the season ahead of their city rivals Atletico Madrid, as the Rojiblancos lost their latest encounter against Athletic Bilbao 2-0 ,cutting the gap between the two Madrid teams to only two points in the league table.
