I am happy for him, for his debut here, with a victory- Zinedine Zidane on his son Luca
The third choice keeper of Los Blancos was repeatedly ignored by former managers but not now.
Karim Benzema scored in the dying minutes against Huesca in LaLiga to hand the second win for Zinedine Zidane to make two in two wins in his second spell at Real Madrid. The bottom placed side of the league, Huesca, gave a tough fight to Los Blancos after they had equalised at the 74th minute to make it 2-2. But the French striker made sure for the win.
The win ensures that they are 11 points clear from the fourth-placed Getafe to have a secure UEFA Champions League qualification for the next season. They have 57 points on the table with Atletico Madrid just two points ahead at 59 points and Barcelona on the top with 69 points with nine games yet to be played.
In one of the few changes by Zinedine Zidane for this game, making his debut in goal was Luca Zidane. Luca is the second son of Zinedine and the first choice keeper for Real Madrid reserves Castilla. Although he was totally neglected by former coach Santiago Solari but under Zidane, he made his first game for Real Madrid.
"I am happy for him, for his debut here, with a victory," Zinedine Zidane said after the game.
He continued, "I was not picking my son, but a player in Real Madrid's squad. I see him as one other player for the team. Luca is the third keeper here. Thibaut was out and I wanted to give Keylor a rest after playing with his country. It came out well."
