The Delhi manager also said winger Kean Lewis is working well...
Delhi Dynamos FC made it back-to-back 2-0 wins in Hero Indian Super League 2016 after beating Kerala Blasters FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Friday evening. Kean Lewis gave the Lions the lead in the 56th minute before Marcelinho headed in his fifth goal of the season on the hour mark to make it 2-0. Delhi’s first home win of the season also took them to the summit of the table, and Zambrotta was a happy man. “When we drew [four matches], we didn’t feel that it was a problem for the team as we were working hard and moving in the right direction and fortunately we won today so I am very happy and also I am very happy because we have won two tough games. I am happier today than usual,” the Italian told the media after the match. “I am happy with the team and of course we can improve our style of play and we are getting better but we have to be tight in our position and we have to focus to reach our target of making the semi-finals.” Lewis demonstrated great composure and presence of mind to put his side ahead in the 56th minute. It was the 24-year-old winger’s second goal this season besides also having an assist to his name. Commenting on Lewis’ performances in Hero ISL 2016, Zambrotta said: “I think Kean is working very well but he needs to work much more in a bigger way and he can do better.” Photo © ISL MediaLatest News
