The new Black Panthers' signing was recently released by the Red & Gold.
I-League second division side and one of Kolkata's 'Three Greats', Mohammedan Sporting Club has signed Willis Deon Plaza, the club confirmed. The 30-year-old marksman was released by East Bengal only days ago, after a series of disappointing performances in the I-League this season.

He is a proven talent and he has plenty of top-level experience. I am confident that he will be an asset to the squad in the upcoming season. I wish him all the very best for the season.”
With the signing of the Trinidad & Tobago forward, Mohammedan Sporting Club has secured their first overseas player for the 2017-18 2nd Division League. The former East Bengal player also became the Black Panthers' first-ever North American footballer at the century-old club.
