The Jamshedpur FC head coach also believes his team is ready for the ISL 2019-20 season.

The 65-year-old tactician handled a very incremental approach when it came to answering about the team’s fortunes considering not thinking too long-term.

“The season is long and we have to keep improving everyday, match-by-match, session-by-session during training. We must also learn from the results that we gather,” Antonio Iriondo said.

Speaking about Tuesday’s opener, Antonio Iriondo quipped, “We want to show our style of play on the pitch and be reactive to the situation. We would want to keep more possession of the ball during the 90 minutes. It is good to win. but most importantly we want to be deserved winners.”

“It is important as to how the players communicate with each other on the pitch and work together,” the Spaniard added.
