Mbappe is among the candidates to potentially be called up for Olympics
Thierry Henry hopes to call up Kylian Mbappé, Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
Le Parisien have reported that Thierry Henry intends to include Kylian Mbappé (25), Antoine Griezmann (32) and Olivier Giroud (37) in his squad to compete for France at the Olympics in their home country. With the 2024 Summer Olympics scheduled to take place in Paris, everyone will be watching Les Bleus as they compete for the gold medal.
Because of the regulations in the Football component of the games, Thierry Henry will have to select a team primarily composed of U23 players for the Olympics. Nonetheless, three players older than 23 may be chosen by each participating nation’s manager to join their squad.
Henry intends to choose three senior internationals in order to enhance his offensive prowess before to the games. With Giroud, Griezmann, and Mbappé, the former Monaco manager intends to bolster his Olympic team with a total of 331 international caps.
It remains to be seen, though, if the players’ individual clubs would permit them to compete following a hectic summer in which Germany will also host EURO 2024.

The Athletic reports that Kylian Mbappé, the captain of France, is anticipated to be included in the Les Bleus Olympic roster. It is unclear, though, if he has a formal deal with Real Madrid that permits him to play for his nation in the Paris 2024 Olympics, given the ongoing transfer drama.
Consequently, teams are exempt from having to release six players, particularly during the preseason of European football. Mbappé’s case, who appeared to be the closest to the trio, might take a while to finish.
Thierry Henry stated to the world press that he wanted to partake in the event, but he will be forced to wait for clarification of what lies ahead before pursuing a potential release.
