WTT Champions Chongqing 2024: Updated schedule, fixtures, live streaming details
Sreeja Akula is the lone Indian participant in the fray.
The second WTT Champions tournament is scheduled in Chongqing, China. WTT Champions Chongqing 2024 will commence on 30 May and end on 3 June 2024 at the Huaxi International Sports and Cultural Center, Chongqing, China. With this tournament, the WTT series will be making its debut in Southwest China
The first WTT Champions was held in Incheon, Korea. Liang Jingkun (WR 4) and Sun Yingsha (WR 1) of China won the titles in men’s and women’s singles respectively. This week both will eye for a title finish in their home country.
Manika Batra who lost in the Round of 32 against Hina Hayata (2-3) at WTT Champions Incheon won’t be competing here. However, Indian fans will have someone to cheer on as Sreeja Akula is participating in the tournament and will look to impress everyone.
